From the IBM Community:
One of the most common questions asked on the IBM Automation Communities is “How do I get started?” For the definitive answer to this question, IBM Client Engineering has created a prescriptive set of steps for identifying and aligning on Automation projects in half-a-day or less.
For the first time ever, we will bring together our four Automation Communities – AIOps & IT Automation, Business Automation, Integration and WebSphere, Liberty, Java & DevOps – for a special presentation, “Identifying Automation Value in a Few Hours,” by Rachel Reinitz, IBM Fellow, VP and CTO of IBM Client Engineering and Founder of IBM Garage.

Let’s Create A Better World
The end of the year is also a season of giving and many of our members contribute time and funding to a wide variety of charitable organizations and non-profit groups. On December 14, we intend to celebrate the many different organizations that our members support.
Do you have a favorite organization that you contribute to with funding and/or in-person volunteering? If so, we want to hear about it. Post a link here (link below) to your favorite charitable foundation or non-profit group that is making a difference in global sustainability, social justice, health, or quality of life and tell us in a few words why you connect to it.
We’ll highlight as many as we can as the hour unfolds. If you’re interested in speaking live about your favorite organization and why they deserve support, we have a few spots for awareness and advocacy.
The world of Automation is filled with people who want to make a difference. We saw many examples of problem solving through Automation in 2022. Join us to celebrate and prepare for a successful new year.
