Trimble is embarking on a digital transformation that will impact every business area, region, and team throughout the company. You will be part of Trimble’s platform team, leading our transformation efforts. We take a cloud-first approach to deliver shared web services and workflows used by Trimble and Trimble partners. Our platform-as-a-service is used by hundreds of product teams to build customer-centric workflows.
Delivering successful internal-customer outcomes and providing meaningful customer experiences is a key components of our strategy. As such, we seek a Director of Enterprise Middleware to help develop a comprehensive approach to this across Trimble to support the growth of our platform.
Your emphasis will be on enabling workflow creation for Trimble teams and customers through directing our workflow orchestration vision. Our workflow orchestration cloud services enable Trimble to take modular capabilities and expose them consistently for interoperability. Enabling interoperability across Trimble capabilities is at the center of Trimble’s strategy to connect the data, lifecycles, and workflows that our customers live every day.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
This strategic position is responsible for leading Trimble’s platform vision for workflow orchestration.
This candidates for this role will need to be able to demonstrate deep hands-on knowledge of leading middleware technologies (Safe FME, Mulesoft, Snaplogic, Dell Boomi).
This role requires a significant amount of stakeholder management through evangelism, education, and communication.
Show what is possible by demonstrating real-world uses of the platform’s workflow orchestration capabilities.
Identify opportunities to rationalize disparate workflow orchestration technologies and services across Trimble to create a consistent platform interface.
Demonstrated experience working across large, geographically diverse, and technically focused teams.
Develop and track appropriate KPIs and key metrics to measure Trimble’s success in enabling workflows for Trimble teams and Trimble customers.
The successful candidate will need to have the capability to grasp the complexity and distill it down to simple concepts to gain buy-in from senior executives.
